‘Bee’ Beautiful At New Downtown Salon

“Surreal” is the first word that comes to new downtown business owner Rebecca Carnes’ mind when she looks around at her completed salon.

A hairstylist for the last 15 years, Carnes jumped around from several different downtown locations in the last eight years before deciding it was time to open a salon of her own. Her dream came true this past week when Bee Beautiful Salon and Day Spa opened its doors to the public, giving the doting aunt a chance to share her “Aunt Bee” persona with the community.
